Honda XR description

2003 Honda XR80R Motorcycle.  Good condition. 100% original, no engine work, never raced.  Runs excellent.  Always winterized and stored inside.  Very little ride time, maybe 50 hours total.  My son has out grown this bike and wants to upgrade.  Time to sell....  Starting at $600 no reserve.  Minor scuffs on plastic and rub marks from boots - as one should expect. This is not a perfect bike, but you definitely can't tell it is 10 years old, and you won't be disappointed.  The pictures tell the story. The bike is listed with a clear title. I had the title when I bought it from the original owner in 2007, but never had it transferred - I didn't want to pay the sales tax.  I am selling it with a bill of sale only. The bike is located in Lebanon, OH - about 10 minutes north of Kings Island on I-71.  If you are close by and want to come check it out, let me know and we'll make an appt.  Thanks.  I'm also selling a Polaris Scrambler 90 ATV.  Check my other listing, if you're looking for a nice kid's quad.

PJ Jacobsen to Make World Supersport Debut at Assen

Wed, 11 Apr 2012

New York native P.J. Jacobsen has been called up to replace injured racer Pawel Szkopek to race at the Assen round of the 2012 World Supersport Championship for the Bogdanka PTR Honda team. Jacobsen, 18, was originally announced as part of PTR’s six-member WSS team in December but funding issues saw him dropped in favor of Jules Cluzel before the season started in March.

See Britain's land speed record hopeful at Race Retro 2010

Tue, 09 Mar 2010

SEE THE MACHINE that could propel Britain to a new motorcycle land speed world record at The Race Retro 2010 show, held at Stoneleigh Park, Coventry from 12th to 14th March. Almost a year has passed since Visordown broke the news of the planned UK assault on the land speed record - this coming August the Angelic Bulldog team travels to Bonneville, where it is hoping to smash the 400mph barrier and bring the motorcycle Land Speed Record back to the UK for the first time since 1937. The current record stands at 360.913mph over a kilometre.

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.
