Honda XR description

I have a clean, NC titled Honda XR650R for sale. This is not the weak, mild- mannered xr650L version. This one is the real deal. Anyone who knows what this is also knows this is a deal. These are getting harder and harder to find. Bike cranks and runs flawlessly too. Has been maintained and up kept by an enthusiast. Has all the right goods and mods completed aleady too.

ProTaper bars with a custom bracket to move them forward too.
FmF power bomb header and FmF exhaust.
Curse hand guards and mirrors that will stand up or fold down.
Trail Tech voyager display.
Baja Designs dual sport kit with everything working properly.
New 70/30 dual sport tires installed.
IMS wider foot pegs installed.
Both the OEM tank and a 4.3 gallon tank for the bigger longer rides.
Radiator Quards

This is an absolute blast to ride. Plenty of power Everywhere across the
Power band too. As you can tell, this has been one of my favorites. Trail
tech says 4200 miles, but I really have no way of knowing exactly. Motor is
Quiet and doesn't smoke or leak at all.

Only flaws are:.
The head light has been cracked. Still works, but the front glass is broken.
Some one sprayed the wrong cleaner on the swingarm so it is
Faded some. One of the right side peg bolts evidently broke off on a previous owner and there has been some bracket made there to support the IMS peg. Same sorta of thing on the left side too...except it has been the chain guide which has been modded.
Some one very good at fabrication has completed some nice work to this one when needed.

Even tho I am offering this bike up for sale, I don't consider myslef stupid, nor am I desperate either.
I am real easy to deal with tho, so feel free to call or text me with questions or offers.

OEMs Plug into Electric Bikes

Sat, 01 Nov 2008

KTM introduced its prototype electric motorcycle earlier this week, and electric bike manufacturer Zero Motorcycles almost immediately responded by opening sales on its 2009 Zero X dirt bike (look for our review of the 2008 model next week!). But these two companies aren’t the only ones exploring the possibilities of electric-powered motorcycles. In September, Japan’s largest industrial information journal Nikkei Business Daily reported that both Honda and Yamaha have set target dates for launching their own electric-powered motorcycles.
