Honda XR description
Up for sale a like new 1982 XR 80 Honda. This bike was bought new and actually hung in a museum for most of it's life. It was finally sold and was used very little until I bought it. The carb was in bad shape, so I replaced it with a brand new OEM Honda carb assembly. When I went to adjust the valves I noticed the inside of the engine was so clean it looked brand new, verifying the story of the low hours. I adjusted the points, replaced the spark plug, put a new air filter in and changed the oil and it was back to it's original glory. This bike looks just like new except of a little ripple in the front fender where it was hung from the ceiling. I have had many of these little Hondas but this one by far is the best I have ever owned. As you know, this is a no battery bike, starts first kick and will fun forever. Perfect for a camper or RV or for that special grandchild. Don't let this one get away these are far and few between.
This bike has NO TITLE, but I will provide you with a bill of sale. Winning bid MUST be paid within 7 days. If checks are sent they will take 3-10 days to clear before the bike can be picked up. Buyer is responsible for ALL transportation arrangements/pickup. |
