Honda Valkyrie description

Very nice Interstate. It has intercom, radio, CB, and a plug for an mp3 player. Will include 2 older helmets and the headsets for the intercom and to listen to music and CB in helmet. The headsets can be adapted to newer helmets. Paint is very good for a twelve year old bike. It just turned 40K miles. Has a good many chrome bits added. $6800. If you reply through Craigslist put the word Interstate in the subject line and include a phone # and I will call you. The best and fastest way to contact me is to just call.. If you get the machine, leave a message. I will return your call the same day. Thanks John

If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle.  They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Here is a link to the step-by-step instructions, check out the video after the jump. The GomiCycle – An Electric Motorcycle Conversion from Media Sapien on Vimeo.

Results From Day 2 Of World Superbike Testing At Phillip Island

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

World Superbike testing at Phillip Island came to a close today, and when the dust settled, reigning champion Tom Sykes stamped his authority, setting the fastest time of the test at 1:30.239, just five thousandths shy of the outright lap record held by Carlos Checa. The time was set during the morning session of testing, though nobody was able to best Sykes for the remainder of the day. Eugene Laverty, who was fastest on day one, showed his pace was no fluke as he stayed near the top of the time sheets, ultimately finishing second behind Sykes, with a best time of 1:30.513.
