Specs and Features The focal point of the Honda VTX 1800 is, obviously, its engine: a liquid-cooled 1795cc V-twin. This provides a quarter-mile acceleration of 12.3 seconds, crossing the line at 105.5mph. An engine this powerful deserved some new brakes and throttle, so Honda updated its linking brake feature and improved the throttle with its Programmed Fuel Injection system. And in the interest of keeping this 758 pound (weight with a full 4.5-gallon tank) behemoth civil, the VTX1800N is wonderfully comfortable to sit on and very manageable in traffic. 2014 Honda CB1100 EX Revealed
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Alongside the updated 2014 CB1100, Honda revealed a new variant it calls the CB1100 EX. Both 2014 models were announced at the Tokyo Motor Show but we’re still waiting to hear whether Honda will be coming stateside. The difference between the regular CB1100 and the EX are not that apparent, and at quick glance, it may be difficult to tell them apart.

The win was Webb’s second after taking the first round victory in Las Vegas and puts him and his Beta two-stroke 300 into the points lead. The race fans in attendance at the Energy Solutions Arena saw a night go almost perfectly for GEICO-supported Webb.

Mon, 22 Jul 2013Marco Melandri captured his third win of the season, the Ducati 1199 Panigale scored its first podium while Sylvain Guintoli regained the championship lead despite dislocating his collarbone days before the race. But the big news at Moscow Raceway of course was the tragic death of Andrea Antonelli in the World Supersport race. The opening-lap crash in severely wet conditions naturally led to the cancellation of the rest of the events as the World Superbike community mourns the loss of the 25-year-old Antonelli.
