The VTX 1800N is for those who want serious power in an extremely attractive package. This VTX1800N pushes styling into a new era with a heavy accent on the neo side of the neo-retro concept, plus Honda's exciting new custom-building options. Specs and Features The focal point of the Honda VTX 1800 is, obviously, its engine: a liquid-cooled 1795cc V-twin. This provides a quarter-mile acceleration of 12.3 seconds, crossing the line at 105.5mph. An engine this powerful deserved some new brakes and throttle, so Honda updated its linking brake feature and improved the throttle with its Programmed Fuel Injection system. And in the interest of keeping this 758 pound (weight with a full 4.5-gallon tank) behemoth civil, the VTX1800N is wonderfully comfortable to sit on and very manageable in traffic. Chattanooga Honda Dealer Fined for Allegedly Selling Recalled Models
Mon, 18 Mar 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has levied a $125,000 fine against Southern Honda Powersports following an investigation into allegations the Chattanooga, Tenn., dealership sold unrepaired recalled models. Southern Honda Powersports bills itself as the “World’s largest Honda powersports dealer”. Federal laws require dealers to stop selling models that are recalled until the defect or noncompliance issue has been remedied.
