EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda CBR300R Revealed at EICMA

The new Honda CBR300R already made its world premiere earlier this month at the 2013 CIMAMotor show in China, but the entry-level sportbike has now made its European debut at the 2013 EICMA show, with full details and specs released. Follow the rest of our 2013 EICMA show coverage Replacing the CBR250R in most western markets, the new CBR300R offers an extra 37cc in displacement and styling inspired from the CBR1000RR. As we previously reported, the 286cc engine was achieved by increasing the stroke of the 250′s engine by 8 mm to 63mm and keeping the bore at 76mm.

K-Tech release 25SSK for Big Piston Forks

K-Tech have released their popular 25SSK front fork open cartridge system to fit all Showa Big Piston Forks. Here's what K-Tech have to say about them: These lightweight aluminium units are supplied to the same exacting specification as all other 25SSK fitments with 14mm piston rods and a 25mm cartridge tube, the 14mm piston rods displace a large volume of oil through the 25mm control pistons giving enhanced damping characteristics over the standard Big Piston Fork and allow a bigger volume of air for a more precise feel at the bottom of the fork travel. WSBK 2013: Aragon Race Report

BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.
