Just in... this local trade. 2008 Honda VTX 1800F spec 2. The bike is superb in condition to say the least. The paint is a factory custom design and very nice with no known damage. The bike was adult owned and looks to have never had any damage or been down. This VTX has Cobra pipes, custom forced air intake and custom grips. The bike runs and rides as it should and man has it got the power! The rear tire is in nice condition and the front looks to be the original. With 7600 miles it could use replacement this winter. Frog eBike – the Electric Successor to 1985 Frog FZ750 Concept
Tue, 03 Apr 2012San Francisco-based Frog Design released images of a new electric motorcycle concept, just as its influential Yamaha FZ750-based Rana concept gets enshrined at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Frog designer Jin Soek Hwang prepared the Frog eBike concept as an expression of how electric motor technology can influence motorcycle design. In a post on Frog’s blog, the designer says he was inspired in part by Frog’s 1985 FZ750 Rana concept (pictured after the jump).
1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction
Wed, 18 May 2011This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.
2012 Honda NSF250R Race Bike Coming to America
Wed, 03 Aug 2011American Honda announced it is bringing the new 2012 HRC NSF250R Moto3-spec race bike to the U.S. Though it was developed primarily for competition in the Moto3 World Championship, the 249cc Honda NSF250R will be legal for some racing classes in the U.S. including in USGPRU and WERA.
