Honda Shadow description

2009 Honda VT750C Shadow AeroHot performance and a cool retro look ??? that's the Honda VT750C Shadow Aero in a nutshell. Its sophisticated 745 cc V-twin engine produces plenty of power for effortless city or highway cruising, but it doesn't overwhelm you with its size and weight the way some big-bore bikes can. And check out those classically valanced fenders, the broad, ow-slung solo seat with detachable passenger section, the wide tires rolling on spoke wheels, and the suspension that looks retro but feels modern-day plush. Easy on the eyes, and easy on the wallet. The VT750C Shadow Aero sure is an easy bike to like.

Kendall Norman and Cody Quinn are starring in a new YouTube video series produced by Red Bull, featuring the two multiple-time Baja winners preparing for the 2011 Baja 1000. The two riders teamed up with Hollywood stunt rider Logan Holladay to win the 2011 Baja 1000 for the JCR Honda team in November. To prepare for the competition, Norman, a six-time Baja 1000 and Baja 500 champion, and Quinn, four-time Baja 1000 winner, rode  Honda CRF450Xs on a 12-day, 2800-mile off-road trip exploring the terrain between San Diego and Baja.

Asimo: Lazy bastard

Wed, 22 Aug 2012

Honda's ASIMO, Advanced Step in Innovative Mobility robot is a pretty cool thing. Until I'd seen it in the flesh (plastic?) I thought it was just a willy-waving exercise from Honda, but when I saw it running and walking up and down stairs, I was massively impressed. So, perhaps, one day, we'll have the ability to buy a relative of ASIMO to help us around the house, I thought to myself.

Tom Sykes had an outstanding weekend in front of his home fans, scoring a pair of wins at the World Superbike Championship round at the United Kingdom’s Donington Park. The Kawasaki racer led every session from first qualifying onwards, before leading all 23 laps in both races for the double. The double victory brings Sykes to within 4 points of series leader Sylvain Guintoli who had a decent weekend himself with a pair of podium finishes.
