2024 Honda Transalp Review – First Ride

Even BMW’s venerable GS was nothing more than a misunderstood, oversized dual-purpose machine with ties to the Paris-Dakar rally, which itself was only a little more than a decade old at the time. Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.

Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More

Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.
