On-Board Lap Of Circuit Of The Americas With Dani Pedrosa

Some MotoGP teams including Repsol Honda, LCR Honda and the Factory Yamaha squads tested at the Circuit of the Americas track in Austin, Texas to gather crucial data leading up to the race there April 19-21. Ride along with Dani Pedrosa and his Honda RC213V as he takes you around for a lap of America’s world-class racetrack.  Get the Flash Player to see this player. Alongside the most stunning collection of race and road bikes at their Motegi museum, next to some race bikes, Honda also has a step by step guide on most aspects of riding. I photographed the wonderful text on push starting but I also have lots of equally hilarious instructions on cornering braking and even what a riders goal should be. EICMA 2011 Preview: 2012 Honda Crosstourer Headed for Production

Honda announced it will mass produce the Crosstourer adventure tourer unveiled first in concept form at the 2010 EICMA show in Milan, Italy. The 2012 Honda Crosstourer will use a V4 engine similar to the one used in the VFR1200F and will also be available with Honda’s dual clutch transmission. Long-travel suspension adds to the adventure touring theme, but the Crosstourer is still more suited to paved roads than dirt.
