Honda Shadow description

2007 Honda Shadow Aero (VT750), 2007 Honda VT 750 Aero - This Shadow has a switch back wind shield, high back seat, backrest, luggage rack, detachable saddle bags, highway bar, Cobra floor boards, Cobra exhaust, chrome wind deflectors, chrome trim and is a very good looking motorcycle. The only thing more stunning than this machine's sweet retro styling accents is its unbelievable price tag. Long, low, powerful and covered in chrome from the fork covers to the rear brake pedal, with spoked wheels and classic valanced fenders, the 750 cc V-twin Shadow Aero delivers full-size looks and muscle at a mid-size price. California version differs slightly due to emissions equipment.

Shunji Yokokawa

Mon, 14 Oct 2013

Honda Project Leader Shunji Yokokawa's first Honda bike was a CB900, which he got when he was a teenager after seeing Freddie Spencer wheeling his way down the Laguna's Corkscrew.Yokokawa has been in the States himself recently, having travelled to the Bonneville Salt Flats to break a world land speed record for a stock 600cc motorcycle.According to the Southern California Timing Association website (you'd have thought the video might have mentioned something about the record?), Shunji was successful in his attempt during August's 'Speed Week', setting an official speed of 170.828mph onboard a CBR600RR.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.

On Board the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR with Jake Zemke

Wed, 21 Dec 2011

Veteran AMA racer Jake Zemke was on hand for the recent press intro for the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR. We asked Jake to go a couple of laps for us at Infineon Raceway with our GoPro camera to show us what it’s like to ride the CBR for someone used to pushing the bike to its limits. Check out the onboard video after the jump.
