Motorcycle Beginner Diary: What I Love About Being a Motorcyclist

Hey folks, it’s Dennis here, Motorcycle.com‘s Designated Newbie. As documented in our Motorcycle Beginner articles (and if you haven’t read them yet, check out the Related Reading links below!) we’re taking a look at the new rider experience and what it means to be a motorcyclist. A Spectacular Isle Of Man TT Lap With Michael Dunlop + Video

The internet is full of videos from the Isle of Man, but if you ask me, this ranks up there as one of the best I’ve seen. Michael Dunlop, who took four wins in last year’s TT, has a hard-charging style that’s exciting to watch. He leaves nothing on the table, and as we see in this on-board video, he’s practically unbeatable when he’s at the top of his game.

MotoGP Axes Claiming Rule and Adjusts Moto2 Engine Swap Fees

The International Motorcycling Federation‘s Grand Prix Commission officially annulled MotoGP‘s Claiming Rule. Effective immediately, teams using the official spec Magneti Marelli ECU hardware and software are exempt from having their engines claimed. Starting in the 2014 season however, the claiming rule will be cancelled completely.
