The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. Honda VFR1200F Launch: Tokyo (no) Show

IF YOU'VE never been to the Tokyo show before, let me tell you this: you’re missing nowt.‘You picked a bad year to come,’ said the Yamaha designer and he was spot on. Three halls of mainly Japanese car manufacturers and lots of empty spaces wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. Maybe my expectations were too great, maybe I should have been expecting my glass to be half empty?

2014 Honda CBR300R Announced for CIMAMotor Show

Honda announced it will present a new CBR300R sportbike at the Oct. 17-20 China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition (CIMAMotor) in Chongqing, China. A new global model, the CBR300R will be produced in Thailand, likely using the same production lines for its predecessor the CBR250R which it will likely replace in most markets.
