Honda Shadow description

For your consideration is a 2004 Honda Shadow VLX , VT 600CD , 11,164 miles . Bike was purchased at a storage auction I have the original key , I do not have the title , NO TITLE . Upon my research I found out the bike had one registered owner , a second party purchased the bike but never registered it just kept it in storage .Bike was purchased from Naults Power Sports Manchester N.H. in 2013 there are no liens or attachments.  I purchased the storage unit March 7, 2014,  for the antiques it contained ,  the bike is in pristine condition aesthetically with the exception of a small crack on the bottom right corner of the windshield , a friend of mine started the bike prior to transporting it from the storage unit onto a trailer the battery was not very strong it will need a new battery ,there are new saddle bags and in the saddle bags I found the sold tag from the dealership as well as the key . I am selling the bike with no title , warranties or representations. Please check with your local registry regarding the title issue before bidding . Winning bidder is responsible for transporting the motorcycle , local pick up is welcome .

This remarkable shot of Eddie Lawson is taken by Rich Chenet. It was August 1980 and Lawson was undergoing a titanic scrap for the AMA title with Wes Cooley and Freddie Spencer here at Pocono Raceway in Philladelphia. The circuit is known as the 'Tricky Triangle' amongst the NASCAR drivers but the superbikes used a mix of infield and sections of the banked circuit.

AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.

The future. But we can't have it

It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.
