Honda Shadow description
Looking to sell my 1998 Honda Shadow ACE 1100cc.
It has a custom Star Wars Paint job and lots of extras. If you don't like the paint job I'm sure it would not be too much to repaint the tank & saddlebags to basic black/white. Only looking to sell because I don't ride nearly as much as I should. It just got a fresh oil change and cleaned the carburetor. Battery & tires practically new Dunlop White wall tires have about 300 miles on them. Runs perfect, big enough that it doesn't get pushed around by semis and such on the highway and cruises great. Longest drive I've done on it was 5 hours. Will include a small tool kit, jumper cables, and complete maintenance history with receipts for the past year I've owned it. List of some of the accessories: Hard Locking Saddlebags Cobra Floorboards Passenger Floorboards Crash/Highway Bar Highway Pegs Removable Windshield Sissybar Luggage Rack Cupholder Clock Lightbar And several chrome trim/covers. (Driveshaft, Neck, Lower Motor) $500 deposit expected within 72 hours. Buyer arranges for shipping or pick up. I may be willing to deliver for a fee. Any questions please ask. Relisting due to buyer not paying. I'm willing to end the auction early to any bidders with prior contact and intent to close. |

2014 WSBK – Donington Results
Mon, 26 May 2014Tom Sykes and Loris Baz captured a pair of one-two finishes for Kawasaki at England’s Donington Park. The first race saw the reigning World Superbike champion fight his way up from 11th place for the win while Race 2 offered a three-way battle between the two Kawasaki riders and Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli. Race One #493744055 / gettyimages.com Normally a strong starter, Sykes had a nearly disastrous beginning in Race One, while up front, Suzuki‘s Alex Lowes battled with Guintoli and Baz.
Maybe the Evo class is the future for WSB?
Thu, 05 May 2011Did we see the future of World Superbike racing last weekend at the BSB event? Possibly, but only if everyone is on Evo spec machines in 2012. By setting the 2nd fastest lap in race one and running second for a while in race two, the brilliant Alex Lowes proved that with a good grid position an Evo spec machine can be competitive for part race distance at least.
Shawn Higbee Wins On The Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2
Thu, 01 May 2014In only its second race appearance, the Brough Superior Taylor Made Racing Moto2 bike competed in the WERA F1 and B Superbike events on April 27th at the Autoclub Speedway in Fontana, California, run in conjunction with the first round of the GEICO Superbike Shootout, presented by Yamaha. During the F1 race, rider Shawn Higbee moved up to as high as 2nd place from a 5th row start on the Brough Superior TMRGP2 bike. The TMRGP2′s lightweight all carbon fiber chassis and 600cc Honda powerplant demonstrated impressive cornering speed on the tight infield sections but could not match the top speed of the heavily modified 1000cc F1 bikes on the long straights. On the last lap Higbee was shuffled back to 4th place at the finish line.
