Honda ST1300 abs description
Tour the Sierras, Rocky Mountains, or the Coasts on this beautiful ST1300. I am the original owner and have enjoyed many amazing trips on this bike. It has about 35,000 miles and has been serviced exclusively by Glendale, CA Honda dealer. I have all service records as does Glendale Honda. Service is up to date with major service including valve adjustment performed at 32,000 miles. Upgrades include; Sargent saddle, Heli-bar risers with power socket, neoprene protector boots on the front forks, Slipstream and stock windshields. Brand new OEM Bridgestone tires, recent Hondaline battery, and all service being up to date mean this bike is ready for your summer adventures. Recently the speedometer started working intermittently. I had it looked at and it was determined that the speedometer needs replacement at a cost of roughly $1000. Feel free to email me with any questions. Thank you. |

Stoner Pulls Back, Skips Day 1 of Honda MotoGP Testing at Sepang
Tue, 31 Jan 2012Reigning MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner pulled his back during his morning stretches leaving teammate Dani Pedrosa to fly the Repsol Honda colors on the first day of the MotoGP pre-season test at Mayalsia’s Sepang circuit. As Stoner received treatment for his back, Pedrosa put in 48 laps to lead all riders. Riding the Honda RC213V, Pedrosa’s best lap time was 2:02.003, making him second fastest on the day behind only Yamaha‘s Jorge Lorenzo and his 2:01.657 time.
475cc NS400R. Marquez and Spencer.
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Winter may be here but I seem to be as busier than ever, maybe the economy is finally turning around. At my last UK track day of the year I had some fun testing this little beauty. It’s a late eighties NS400 triple bored out to 475cc and it felt sweet as I zinged round the GP Arena track at Silverstone. Being stripped bare to reduce weight gives it a very respectable power to weight ratio which means it could live with 600s (on the twisty bits at least).
Mick Doohan NSR500 art sculpture
Wed, 04 Apr 2012How do you best immortalise the great Mick Doohan and the big bang Honda NSR500 with which he dominated Grand Prix racing in the 90s? An Australian artist has answered this by creating an art installation that sees a hand-created replica of the bike exploded and suspended from the ceiling. The Doohan piece is appropriately titled 'The Big Bang' and as artist Eamon O'Tootle describes, "It is a complex sculpture comprising thousands of parts joining to make up a whole and symbolic tribute to the true inherent nature of art and sport – the creativity of design, where the mechanical is modified to suit the needs of man." Eamon added: "The way the Doohan piece came about was that one of the bikes Mick rode had an engine configuration called the Big Bang.
