Excellent condition - absolutely everything works as it should. Starts quickly and runs strong. Always garaged when not being ridden. Never abused or neglected. Seat has no scratches, punctures or rips. I am the second owner and have owned it since 2005. Prefer to ride my Gold Wing, so this one is relegated to garage duty. Makes excellent fuel mileage, averages 48 mpg with moderate throttle. Uses no oil and drips no fluids at all. This bike looks like it is fresh out of a time capsule. Good paint, with only a few minor imperfections from light use as expected. Factory matching locking removable saddlebags fit well. Needs nothing done to it. You won't find a cleaner, newer ST1100 with fewer miles anywhere.

This is a very nice, well-maintained motorcycle and is ready to be ridden anywhere.  Runs great, looks great, sounds great.  Plus, it's all clean and sparkly!

Honda announced a hardcore version of the Africa Twin

Thu, 09 Mar 2017

At the Motodays show in Rome, Honda announced a hardcore version of the Africa Twin, featuring Dakar styling, technical innovations and a price tag that surpasses the exterior of the motorcycle in severity. The Italian division of Honda has comprehensively modified the CRF1000L, giving it the dashing style of an experimental vehicle along the way. There is a pretty good attempt to endow the motorcycle with the features of a Dakar monster.

Church of MO: 2011 Honda CB1000R Review

Sun, 19 Dec 2021

This sweet Honda lost out to the Triumph Speed Triple ten years ago, mostly for a deficit of horsepower. But now that all ten-year old motorcycles are archaic compared to the current crop, we like it even better than we did then. The Honda CBR1000R was light-handling, easy-riding and even nice to look at.

Fri, 28 Jun 2013

Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.
