Honda SL70 description

For your consideration... Beautiful freshly restored Ruby Red 1971 Honda SL70. Very nice example collector quality restoration of one of Hondas most popular models ever ! Appreciating always and in the most desirable shiny Ruby Red color... These hard to find SL's are in demand and would certainly thrill many young and old finding this under their tree on Christmas morning ! Professionally refinished tank, fenders, headlight and side covers with repro embossed tank badges and graphics. Done to a very respectable level... Too many new or restored parts and pieces to list with correctness and originality implemented in this restoration. Pricey stuff includes new cylinder, piston, rings, gaskets, correct trials pattern tires & tubes, seat cover and carburetor. Original handlebars, levers, perches, rims & spokes, forks, hardware and exhaust have all been attended to and present well but do show wear or light corrosion constitent with age. Similar SL350 taillight bracket replaces impossible to find original unit. Used optional speedometer has been added with incorrect mileage. Restorations ultimately have compromises on availability of parts, finishes and budgets. As always one could continue to improve and or opinions on such vary. Positive comments and inquiries from serious buyers are welcome... Negative or tire kickers need not bother please. The detailed rebuilt engine is original to the bike. Everything labor intensively inspected and expertly assembled...Starts, stops and runs as new with test miles since completion and guaranteed fun factor ! Nicely restored this SL70 is turn key and ready to enjoy ! Bill of Sale and important clear Michigan title. Painted, Polished, Plated and Detailed... this bike can not be duplicated for low opening no reserve auction bids... Or secure for your own without competition for reasonable Buy it Now Christmas offer. Honda Announces CBR400R, CB400F and 400X for Japan

Tue, 12 Mar 2013

Honda confirmed it will produce a 399cc version of its new 500-series motorcycles for the Japanese market. The Honda CBR400R, CB400F and 400X will be offered in Japan instead of their respective 500 versions, as they are a better fit to the country’s tiered licensing system than the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. The new 400 models should come as no surprise after Honda announced in February it would produce a smaller version of the 471cc engine used in the 500 series.

Church of MO: Honda Pacific Coast 800 First Impression

Sun, 01 Jan 2023

Now that it’s 2023, that means 1998 was 25 years ago and the Honda PC800, in its last year of production, is thus fair game for this week’s sacred Church of MO. The more all these years pile up, the more some of us dig practical devices like scooters. So why not a big scooter like this one?

2014 AMA Supercross – Arlington Results

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

James Stewart‘s hot streak continues with his second-consecutive win and fourth AMA Supercross podium in five weeks after an impressive effort at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Fresh off of signing a contract extension with Yoshimura Suzuki, Stewart took control of the Arlington main event on the third lap, passing holeshot-taker Ryan Dungey and running away with the win. With his win last week at San Diego, Stewart becomes the first rider to win back-to-back races this season and establishes himself as a championship contender as we approach the mid-way point of the 2014 season.
