Honda Rebel description
Selling my four Honda Rebel 250 cruiser bike. Bought it for gf to learn on and now she wants to move on to a sportsbike. Low miles for this year and type of bike at 15,445.Mechanically this bike is great. Brake pads, tires, battery, fork seals, etc. are all in great shape. Gears shift smoothly. Paint is in terrific shape as well. Small dent on the gas tank.Registration expires February 2014 and safety check expires September 2014. Title is clear and under my name and ready to sign over to new owner. $10 gets the title and registration transferred to your name at Satellite City Hall.This Rebel has been taken care of and I will ride it as my daily commuter until someone buys it. It is ridiculously great on gas and still hits 75 - 80mph. Price is absolutely firm. Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1
Mon, 25 Jul 2011Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.
French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.
Honda Reports Q3 2011-2012 Results
Tue, 31 Jan 2012Honda reported a 41% decrease in net income over the third quarter, thanks primarily to the rising Japanese yen, continuing effects from the Japanese earthquake and floods in Thailand interrupting automobile production. Thanks to recovering auto sales and growing motorcycle sales in emerging markets, Honda reported a net profit of 47.6 billion yen (US$624 million) in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011.
