Honda Rebel description

1999 Honda Rebel with only 612 miles since new, Bought this bike to teach the grandchildren to ride on, and mother dose not want the kids on motorcycles, so here it is a 1999 Honda Rebel with only 612 miles since new, 500 miles that is what it takes to break the motor in. I took pictures of the bike at the warehouse and did not dust the bike off because I did not want to scratch the paint-will leave room for some more pictures for later on, give me a call and I will email some pictures of  the bike cleaned. These Rebels have been around for along time and have not change the style and engine of the bike ever-this is a turn key bike and should be passed from one generation to the next- Great and fun bike to ride and a great bike to teach someone to learn to ride on-Any questions please call me Shawn Davis 423-956-3002

However, once all was said and done, the winning bid for this Honda was an astounding $148,100.

Stoner explains the tank slapper

Mon, 03 Oct 2011

Casey Stoner looked all set to win at Motegi, after translating his pole position into an early race-lead. But coming over the crest on the back straight his bike momentarily lost control in a tank slapper. Regaining composure the championship leader was forced to pump his brakes to get the pads back in place, with the rear-wheel bouncing in the air he ran out of time and space to make the 90 degree right hander and was forced to run into the gravel.
