Honda Other description

I bought this last month brand new for my sister from Schroader's Honda in Hendersonville, NC. She got a DUI and needed a scooter to help her get back on her feet. She said she was getting her act together etc etc. Well, she had other charges I didn't know about and is now in jail for quite a while. I bought her a new one because a 3-7 year old one was running about $1500 used at best and that was with thousands of miles. Also, the 2012 and older ones were carbureted and somewhat intolerant to the newly mixed ethanol gas mix we have in almost all gasoline now but the new 2013 model is fuel injected and gets a lot better gas mileage. So, I thought lets just buy new! It comes with the $375 Givi rack and case that attaches and detaches quickly. It gets 117mpg, and has only 20 miles on it which it had on it from he dealer. It has a one year factory warranty. This baby will haul all your groceries or store your full size helmets while you are shopping. It has neat security features to keep it from being stolen also. You will get all manuals, books, certificate of origin and riding lessons if you need it to get home lol! It's flawless, no scratches, it's seriously new, new is new what else can I say?

It's located in Asheville, NC and you can come look at it anytime or call me on my personal cell phone anytime of day @ 910-237-3870.

2 hours after auction you must call me and give a $500 deposit with my square card reader, you can pay for the entire price with your card this way also but you must cover the 1.5-3% fee the card reader charges me. If you don't pay the deposit the next highest bidder gets it and you get negative feedback and a complaint filed.

If you need more information, please review Honda's website. It is brand new, new means new I can't stress this

Many people have asked what this scooter cost me new. The total out the door price was $2,600 to include dealers fees, taxes, purchase and installation of the Givi rack and hard case. That's $1,999 MSRP, $125 Destination Fee, $375 Givi case and rack and $100 taxes. The profit margin on these are small so to try to bargain down the price is rather futile. You might get $100 off but not at 4 dealers I talked to when shopping around for it.

Tested: Dual Clutch Transmission

Tue, 18 Sep 2012

Been blasting all around the UK on my Crosstourer DCT this summer. The bike is mega in a Range Rovery-posh and grunty kind of a way. But it’s that engine and gearbox that transcend the normal into new realms of brilliance. I’ve been doing my best not to bore people too much about DCT but it’s hard.

The provisional list includes 21 riders in the premiere class, including nine classified as Claiming Rule Team entries. Defending MotoGP Champion Casey Stoner will wear the #1 plate for the 2012 season, the first with both CRT entries and the new 1000cc engine displacement cap.

Simon and Leo

Thu, 11 Aug 2011

If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
