Honda Other description

Up for sale is my very reliable Honda farm bike (NO TITLE).  I've used this bike for transportation back and forth across our farm for over 20 years. Garage kept and used weekly year around.  Starts first or second kick hot or cold.  Speedo, tack, turn signals and tail light have been removed years ago, but the headlight works both high and low beam.  Has a slight head gasket oil leak as seen in the pictures but does not use any oil.  Keep in mind that I have probably cleaned the bike thoroughly once in the twenty plus years I've owned it!  Over the years I have replaced the fork seals, clutch plates, tires, chain and sprockets but otherwise this bike has performed heroically and is a true work horse!  Why would I ever sell it?  We've moved and I have no use for her at our new place and she needs to be ridden in the manner she's accustomed to.  Cash and local pick up only.

MotoGP should return to Suzuka

Thu, 14 Jul 2011

Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.

MotoGP to Re-Visit Rookie Rule

Tue, 19 Jun 2012

MotoGP organizers are re-opening discussion for the series’ rookie rule which prevents new riders from entering the series with factory teams. Introduced following the 2009 MotoGP season, the rule was designed to give satellite teams the chance to field young up-and-coming talents  they otherwise wouldn’t have been able to sign. The theory was the rule would protect the satellite teams and spread out the talent pool.
