Honda Other description

We are about 20 miles south of Tampa. This hack has everything including Triple Tree Modification by Side Effects http://www.sidecars.ca/ was $745.00 and optional electric servo that lifts and lowers the sidecar to keep it level (switch is located at the handlebars, (I think if I remember correctly, $400 option).  Sidecar is a Factory Installed Astro SportSidecar and the 1992 St1100 has only 63600 mile on it. Bike also has a shock absorber that mounts between the front wheel and the sidecar that eliminates wobble in the front wheel.  I never had any problem with wobble so I removed it (only 3 bolts to reinstall it).  Bike also has new front tire, fresh oil change, new rear brake pads. Honda Storage Box on the back makes an excellent back rest. It is set up like a Sidecar unit should be.   I have owned it for 6 years and put 25000 miles on it since I purchased it. Service records are available. Check out HanniganTrikes.com for more info. I am 66 years old and getting a bit old for motorcycles. Wife and I have enjoyed it and now time to pass it on so someone else can. It has just been sitting in the garage for the past year with me taking it out maybe once per month. Everything works, great shape, Couple of minor scratches.

Please note the top is removable and there is also another cover that can be snapped on if you are riding single.  It just covers the sidecar compartment.

Get ready for Daytona. This is an eye catcher. Where ever we go, people want to see it. I was president of Tampa Christian Motorcyclists Assoc. for some time and will answer any questions honestly.

Fri, 21 Aug 2009

The latest issue of Visordown mag just arrvied in the office, fresh from the printers. And it's looking great! This month we've got the new KTM 990SMT up against Suzuki's Kayabusa, Honda's VFR800 and BMW's K1300GT - which one is the daddy for sports touring?

Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1

Mon, 25 Jul 2011

Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.
