My Honda Pacific Coast is in near perfect condition, especially for a 1989 yr model (Honda only made these bikes from 89 - to 98, so they are very collectable - it looks like a baby Goldwing). The bike has, never been wrecked / laid down, but has NOT been ridden regularly for over a year. The bike has always been garage kept and does NOT have a current Virginia inspection sticker... however, I have full confidence in it's roadworthiness. The bike currently needs a new battery and a carb cleaning job (it runs fine after warming up for a few minutes), which is work already scheduled / planned for this or next week. If you buy the bike before that work is done, I will certainly consider that in your offer. Buyer is responsible for shipping, however, I can assist with loading + securing the load. Note: I also have a 1991 Honda ST1100 in "pristine" condition (see my other listing). I will consider all fair offers and/or trades (or I'll keep it until the weather gets warmer... like many. Honda Tuner Mugen Motorsports to Enter 2012 TT Zero Electric Race at Isle of Man
Thu, 16 Feb 2012Engine tuning company Mugen Motorsports announced it will compete in the TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Though not officially a Honda company,Mugen was founded by Hirotoshi Honda, son of Honda founder Soichiro Honda, and the company is best known for its work as an engine tuner and parts maker for Honda vehicles. The Mugen entry to the TT Zero represents possibly the closest connection so far between a traditional motorcycle OEM and the relatively new realm of electric motorcycle racing.

Wed, 17 Oct 2012Spanish oil company and noted motorcycle racing sponsor Repsol recently gathered its cadre of riders from MotoGP, Moto2, Moto3 and the Spanish CEV championship for a special race – on electric minimotos. Honda MotoGP riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa were joined by Moto2 racer Marc Marquez, his brother Alex Marquez and his fellow Moto3 racers Miguel Oliveira and Alex Rins and CEV racer Maria Herrera in the minimoto race. Hijinks ensued as racers grappled for position in the low-speed race.
Kenny Roberts Motorcycle Collection Up For Sale
Wed, 25 Apr 2012Motorcycling legend Kenny Roberts has commissioned RMD Motors to auction off some rare and exclusive motorcycles from his collection, presumably to make room for more. The Japan-based company is known the world over for its collection of rare and classic motorcycles for sale, many of which are retired grand prix machines fortunate enough to escape the fate of most decommissioned racebikes: the crusher. Headlining the Roberts collection is the 2004 Proton KRV5 originally ridden by Kurtis Roberts, King Kenny’s youngest son. The five-cylinder grand prix machine never achieved much success on the world stage, but will easily make you the center of attention at your local trackday.
