1970 Honda Mini Trail z50. Vintage dirt bike. Unrestored. Original red paint with heavy chips. 80% complete - missing headlamp, tail light, and handlebar switch. I have a gas tank but in rough shape, new seat cover, but otherwise nice condition including good wheels and tires fair. Runs well. No title. Local pickup only - Bolivia NC. Fri, 24 Jun 2011This ‘you tube’ gem sent to me recently brought back some funny memories from the scary but incredibly exciting days of 500cc two stroke racing. This particular race was the final round of the All Japan 500cc Championship at Tsukuba Circuit where I enjoyed a head to head battle with national hero Tadahiko Taira. Yamaha’s favourite son at the time, ‘tie wrap’ as we liked to call him, was taller and better looking than most Japanese riders (maybe a war baby?) and went on to win nearly everything in Japan during his career.
Redding Signs with Gresini to Ride Honda RCV1000R MotoGP Production Racer
Thu, 29 Aug 2013Current Moto2 points leader Scott Redding has signed a two-year contract to race in the MotoGP class for the Go&Fun Honda Gresini team. The 20-year-old British rider will join Alvaro Bautista on the Gresini team riding the new Honda‘s new production racer the team reveals will be called the RCV1000R. Redding leads the Moto2 championship for the Marc van der Straten racing team with 167 points, a comfortable lead of 21 points ahead of Tuenti HP 40‘s Pol Espargaró with seven rounds to go.
