Honda Other description

I've owned the bike for 10 years. Long time AHRMA racer, I've raced the bike 2-3 times a year each year.  No issues, has best upgrades, set up for leaded fuel. 1996 is one of the best years RS125R to race,  no RAM air complexity, etc.  Was previously owned and raced by Garret Carter, AMA Pro earlier in his career.

Good tires,  new chain, recent top-end with 3 races on.  Has Frank Wrathall ported cylinder, pulling 44.5hp, and this bike was pulling all other RS125Rs on Daytona back straight when last raced there 2003-2004. Jolly Moto pipe (price one of those out!!) carbon fiber silencer....New carbon reeds, professionally done front suspension, excellent suspension balance set up for 190 lb rider.  If you have ridden an RS125R and the Brembo front brake,  you know this bikes braking is unsurpassed in braking force. Overall the RS125R gives you the most intense and exciting track experience of anything else out there.  I have never found the bikes limit, and the cornering speed is over the top. Spare HRC NOS cylinder, and gearing spares.

Winding down my road racing, so thinning down my race bikes.   With a basic pre-race service, this RS is ready for the track.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Los Angeles Results

Mon, 23 Jan 2012

Chad Reed won his first race of the 2012 AMA Supercross season in Los Angeles but the victory was overshadowed by a first-lap collision that left Trey Canard and Ryan Morais with broken backs. Racing for Team Honda Muscle Milk, Canard was injured on the first lap after catching a piece of some signage. That forced him to single a triple jump, putting him in the path of Star Valli Yamaha rider Ryan Morais who landed on Canard from behind.

Front wheel hopping on a 'Blade

Wed, 25 Aug 2010

In my youth I used to spend hours with my mates pulling stoppies on our mountain bikes and then proceeding to hop on the front wheel for as long as we could or replicating the tricks we'd see our trials heroes perform. But the idea of doing this on a Honda Fireblade is puzzling, but stunt rider Odair Salmazo has it cracked.

The 2012 AMA Supercross season is shaping up to be a tight one, with four racers and former champions healthy and jockeying for position on top of the points standings. Ryan Villopoto, Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey and James Stewart have all claimed wins in the first four rounds. After the second Anaheim round, the four contenders, representing four different manufacturers, are separated by just 13 points.
