1986 Honda Other (1986)
6 spd see photo of extra parts: shop manual, original turn signals, original battery box, NOS rear sprocket, new fork seals in box, extra counter shaft sprocket, are included tires are original I bought this used (800 miles on it) just before retiring and moving to Idaho in 2003. I rode it for 8 years on the single track & ATV trails of Caribou National Forest in South Eastern Idaho. “Riding season” at 6,500’ elevation was only about 12 weeks. It starts easily, shifts well and uses no oil. It is one sweet little trail bike. It is not a Trailer- Queen. I rode it, but did not abuse it. There are two small dents in the tank (see photo) but no rust in the tank. I installed the 60t rear sprocket to slow it down some for the steep terrain of that area. The chain is almost new (see chain adjuster position). Wheels are tight and true. I removed the turn signals, battery box and added the battery eliminator, since they kept getting caught in the brush. The plug in wiring and connectors for them are still in-tact for easy re-installation. Everything works including the horn. I have described it as best I can. It climbs like a goat even at 11,000’ elevation. I’ll deliver it or meet you within 175 miles of Huron, Ohio. Thu, 10 Jul 2014When American Honda officially announced the new 2015 CB300F this morning, it didn’t take long to realize the naked version of the CBR300R would not be offered with anti-lock brakes. The lack of ABS, even as an option, was one of the things that differentiated it from the CBR300R which offered it at a $500 premium. That’s not the case north of the border however, as Honda Canada confirmed it will offer the CB300F with ABS as standard equipment.

The 2015 Honda CB300F shares the same chassis and 286cc single-cylinder fuel-injected engine as the CBR300R. The engine itself is similar to the CBR250R’s powerplant, but with the piston stroke increased to 63mm from 55mm.
