    Got this at an estate sale, The back fender had cought on fire some how, so i cut off burnt part and reinstalled it, The air cleaner box was scorched but still in working order, the stater wires where burnt so i spliced in new wire and taped up, Installed new battery, Cleaned points and carburetor ,Replaced petcock, Added premix gas and it started right up ,Have not hooked up oil injection system, Need to clean oil reservoir, No rust in gas tank but some varnishing of old gas, Got new tires i thought the fatter tire would fit on rear ( ONE SIZE OVER) But had to put on front so front fender was modified a little it is now on top of fender bracket, can be put back no extra holes were made. After market headlight ( can change out bulb now ), New Honda taillight Lense screws and gasket, New Honda ignition with 2 keys, Runs and Idels great, Starts first time, 27 mph, Missing right side carb cover and title, bill of sale only, Everything works .Overall bike is in great shape, Any question call 225-620-8141 local pickup or you arrange shipping , may be able to put on pallet

    This bike is quite similar to the other bike I have listed on ebay (84 XR350R).  This bike has been meticulously maintained.  Is mostly stock, but has upgraded front end springs & setup.  Has the more desirable XR head with larger valves for more power.  Brand new Heidenau K60 tires. Upgraded XR's Only performance muffler. Everything works perfectly.  Current registration.  Here's the kicker:  It has a full super moto / motard / sumo setup.  Sun rims, Michelin Pilot Power tires.  About a $2000 addition when you consider the rims & lacing & tires.  It would be a perfect race bike, as a whole second donor bike is included.  All electronics, shocks, frame, signals.  Engine plus second cylinder.  Spare engine is non-operational, but it will come in handy if you ever need a spare part as pretty much everything on this bike is not made anymore.  A stator will cost you $200...I know!  And now you have a second one!  This bike has super bitchin hand grips that will impress your friends.  Note:  the title is salvaged.  This happened when I was cut off at low speed.  Sure, the bike went down, but I was travelling at a very slow rate of speed.  I needed to pay my bills and I let the insurance company total the bike.  I never expected to sell this bike as I love it so much, but I can guarantee you right now that nothing has been harmed on this bike except for a few scratches and I will not reduce the price in regards to the salvaged title.     nice original CA76 not many around early dry sump very original motor apart , was put away many years ago with a bad third gear engine sat apart with bike in barn for 30plus years unfortunatly crank is ruined from sitting out in an area that got wet rest of engine good as i replaced third gear and cleaned cases ready for new bearings and seals that i will include. crank has been pressed apart but is pitted a good crank shop can easily repair or you can source another one head has been redone cylinder have been bored include NOS oversize pistons , body and original paint real nice whats missing are the following- badges , mufflers , (pipes are there though ) lower chain guard body real straight and paint nice for age front fender is a bit banged up though but no terrible comes with the period bags in pics original tool kit even mostly there . this is a real nice easy dry sump project .

    A fantastic bike that runs perfectly with a brand new battery.  These bikes were designed to go 150,000 miles before any major work will be needed.  Selling it because I have two and don't want to ship one to CA where I now live.  I drive mine 20 miles each way to work and love it.  This is a great touring bike with a large trunk that can hold 4 bags of groceries.  Some minor scratches that would be expected on a 27 year old bike.  A Pacific Coast full face helmet (with some scratches from falling off the bike) goes with it in case the buyer doesn't have a helmet.  This model was in the Back to the Future 2 movie for 1-2 seconds when Marty McFly went to the year 2015.

Barber Recognized by Guinness as World’s Largest Motorcycle Museum

Guinness World Records has officially recognized the Barber Motorsports Museum as the world’s largest motorcycle museum in the world. The 144,000-square-foot, five-story museum is home to nearly 1400 motorcycles, of which about 700 are on exhibit. We’ve featured the Barber Museum before, and are completely blown away each time we step foot within its doors. It’s simply awe-inspiring.

Heavy rains and a fortuitous red flag were the difference in the World Superbike Championship‘s visit to The Cathedral of motorcycle racing, the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands. Aprilia‘s Sylvain Guintoli captured his second win of the season in Race 1, which was halted early by a red flag with five laps to go just as it looked like reigning WSBK champion Tom Sykes was gearing up for a final challenge. The second race was also shortened, not by a red flag but because of a rain, turning the 21-lap race into a 10-lap sprint.

Honda Reports 2013-2014 Sales Results

A strong fourth quarter helped Honda see a 9.8% increase in motorcycle sales and a 9.3% increase in motorcycle revenue for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2014. The Japanese manufacturer reported sales of 17.0 million motorcycles and ATVs over the fiscal year, up from the 15.5 million sold in the previous year. Honda’s worldwide motorcycle sales increased in each of the previous seven quarters going from 3.8 million in the Q2 last year to 4.5 million in the most recently completed quarter.

German company Ronax GmbH is producing a limited edition street-legal two-stroke sportbike rumored to be based on the Honda NSR500 GP racebike. The company isn’t releasing much information but what little it has revealed about the Ronax 500 has certainly piqued our interest. What we do know for certain is the motorcycle will be powered by a 500cc two-stroke V-4 engine, which sounds like Honda’s racebike of yesteryear.

2014 AMA Supercross – Seattle Results

Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.
