Honda Other description

2014 Honda Stateline, Get ready to be the center of attention. The first time you see it, the Honda Stateline will grab your attention and refuse to let go. Just like it ll draw everyone s stares wherever you ride it. Sure, a lot of it has to do with its cool, classic lines and progressive retro styling. Or the blacked-out cylinder fins surrounding that massive 1312cc V-twin. Or the Stateline s long, low-slung profile, perfectly accented with swept-back bars atop raked-out forks and full-size fenders spooning fat front and rear tires.Or maybe it s simply the combination of all these things. And you know what? Who cares? Because when a bike looks this cool and works this well, you just want to sit back, start her up. And go riding.MSRP Does not include $350.00 Destination Charge.

BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates

Tue, 03 Jan 2012

In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.

Hero MotoCorp Reveals RNT 150 Turbo Direct Injection Diesel Concept

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Hero MotoCorp revealed a new scooter concept powered by a 150cc turbocharged direct injection diesel engine. And if that isn’t unique enough, the concept is also two-wheel drive, with an electric motor in the front wheel hub. It’s too soon to know when the Hero RNT 150 TDI concept will ever make it to serial production, but the scooter does represent a technological show of force, proving that Hero can carry on its own research and development following its split from longtime partner Honda.

Schoolboy Heroes

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

A wet and grey day in Calais in 1992 wouldn’t be the obvious situation for a life changing experience, but for a 11 year old lad on a boring booze cruise from Dover this is exactly what happened. Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets.  Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force.  At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag.  Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125.  Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park.  I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed.  What and how do I become a motocross champion?
