Miguel Duhamel to Ride for Lightning-Barracuda at Le Mans FIM e-Power/TTXGP Race

Miguel Duhamel is returning to action to race in the FIM e-Power International Championship for Lightning Motorcycles. The five-time Daytona 200 winner will ride the Lightning Barracuda electric motorcycle for the joint FIM and TTXGP race at Le Mans , and Motorcycle.com had a role in setting up the connection. The topic of a rider for Le Mans came up during the preparations for Associate Editor Troy Siahaan‘s exclusive test of the Lightning race bike last month.

Red Bull Glen Helen National Media Day Thursday, May 22

With the Supercross season over, and Motocross season now beginning, Thursday, May 22, will be a media day leading up to the Red Bull Glen Helen National. This event is open to all journalists — no credential necessary.  The day kicks off at 1pm, with a press conference featuring former 450 Class Champions: Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed. Nicky Hayden Makes Aspar Team Debut Testing Honda RCV1000R

American racer Nicky Hayden made his first appearance with the Aspar Team, testing the Honda RCV1000R production racer at the official MotoGP post-season test at Spain’s Valencia circuit. Hayden completed 76 laps on the RCV1000R, posting a top lap time of 1:32.576, putting him 13th on the time sheet. The test time was 0.188 seconds faster than his top lap time in Sunday’s race at Valencia on the Ducati Desmosedici.
