2012 HONDA Interstate ABS, The Honda Interstate Base is a cruiser style motorcycle with an MSRP of $13,240 and is carryover for 2012. Power is provided by a 4-stroke, 1312cc, liquid cooled, SOHC, v twin engine with electric starter. The engine is paired with a 5-Speed manual transmission and total fuel capacity is 4.4 gallons. The Interstate Base rides on aluminum wheels with a 140/80 R17 front tire and a 170/80 R15 rear tire. The front suspension is a telescopic fork while the rear suspension is a twin sided swing arm. Front hydraulic disc brakes and rear hydraulic disc brakes provide stopping power. The Interstate Base comes standard with a one-piece, 2-passenger seat. Ex-racer Ben Bostrum might have stopped competing on motorcycles, but he hasn't given up his passion for two wheels. He's teamed up with motorsports promoter M1 to create Ben Bostrom Events, a company that plans to host world-class cycling and running races across the US. According to a press release, the high-intensity events will feature an 'entertainment-filled atmosphere', combining many of the familiar elements found at other MOB (mud, obstacles, beer) racing events.

When he signed with the team, Eugene Laverty said he would give all he possibly could to bring Suzuki back to the top of the podium once again. Well, it sure didn’t take the Northern Irishman long to accomplish that goal, winning the very first race of the 2014 season at Australia’s Phillip Island course. The win was Laverty’s third in a row, including the final two races of the 2013 season when he raced for Aprilia.
