VFR800F Coming to US as 2014 Honda Interceptor

We’ll admit, we weren’t confident Honda would import the VFR800F to these shores when it was first announced at last fall’s EICMA show in Milan. As such, we are pleased to report American Honda is bringing back the V-4 sport-tourer to the U.S. market as the Honda Interceptor.

EICMA 2013: Returning 2014 Honda Models Announced

Along with an all-new CTX1300 and CBR1000RR SP announced at the 2013 EICMA show, Honda announced several more models returning for 2014 with some minor updates and new color options. Several of these models, such as the 500 series and the Gold Wing F6B were only introduced last year, so they receive just a palette update, while other models like the NC700X return with minor tweaks. Toni Elias to Substitute for Injured Hector Barbera at Laguna Seca

Former Moto2 World Champion Toni Elias is back in the premiere MotoGP class, albeit on a temporary basis. The Pramac Racing satellite Ducati team has signed Elias to race at the U.S. Grand Prix at Laguna Seca in place of Hector Barbera who is sidelined with a broken leg.
