Honda Other description

2011 Honda VT1300CXA Fury, Discounted Anniversary Pricing Was $9999 - The true magic of the Honda VT1300CXA Fury is not its radically raked front end. Or its big V-twin engine cradled by a frame thats hardly there. Or its ingenious hidden single-shock rear suspension that provides comfort thats far superior to that of many chopper-style motorcycles. Or its sleek, sensuous styling with new colour-matched frame for 2011. No, the true magic is how the Fury performs when you slide into its low, wide seat, crack the throttle, and head down the road. Custom bike enthusiasts love the chopper for its outrageous styling, but until now it seemed like nobody could get a motorcycle with such a radically raked front end to handle properly. But the Fury handles like... well, like a Honda. Which is to say it steers and rides with a predictability that makes you immediately feel comfortable and in control. You get wild chopper looks, plus the handling, engine performance and reliability you expect from a Honda. Thats the magic of the VT1300CXA Fury. Exclusive Model only available at Honda Powerhouse Dealers

Motorcycles at the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show

Mon, 28 Sep 2009

Two weeks ago, I took a break from my regular duties gathering news for Motorcycle.com to fly to Germany to cover the 2009 Frankfurt Auto Show for our sister site AutoGuide.com. For two hectic days, AutoGuide editor Colum Wood and I scrambled across the massive 6.2 million square foot Messe Frankfurt trade fair compound, running from press conference to press conference to get the latest on exotic sport cars, futuristic concept models and international unveilings from the automotive world. It was heaven for car lovers, but for me, it meant fighting my way through hordes of photogs, auto-journalists and car show models to get the first photos of four-wheeled goodies from MINI, Ferrari and Lotus.

Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More

Wed, 17 Jul 2013

Last week, we wrote about a recall in Canada for the ABS system on the 2014 Honda CTX700N and the CTX700T (known everywhere else as simply the CTX700), affecting 13 units north of the border. We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.

Schoolboy Heroes

Fri, 04 Mar 2011

A wet and grey day in Calais in 1992 wouldn’t be the obvious situation for a life changing experience, but for a 11 year old lad on a boring booze cruise from Dover this is exactly what happened. Pockets bulging with funny money I headed to the Tabac for the obligatory bangers, dirty playing cards and some sweets.  Then it happened, I stood in front of the magazine rack and reached up, as if drawn by an external force.  At the time I wasn’t tall enough for Playboy or L’ Escort so settled for a copy of Moto Verte, the French motocross mag.  Life would never be the same again. Inside there was a double page spread, with a fresh faced Jeremy McGrath resting a leg over his #15 Honda CR125.  Sporting a pair of fluro MX trousers with a, now retro, bright white surname emblazoned jersey, and casting an eye over a seriously vast motocross park.  I stared at this Sinisalo advert all the way home, partly because all the articles were in foreign, but also because I was transfixed.  What and how do I become a motocross champion?
