2010 Honda VT1300CX Fury, CLEAN HONDA FURY CHOPPER! - NICE 2010 HONDA FURY VTX1300CX WITH ONLY 1,293 MILES! Look at what happens when we give our designers the green light to create the bike of your wildest dreams! The daring Honda VT1300CX Fury captures the essence of the choppers of yesteryear, with its radically raked front end, sleek and smooth lines, and that big V-twin engine cradled by a spartan frame with a high-mount steering head. But where some retro-choppers are little more than impractical styling exercises, the VT1300CX Fury backs up its outrageous looks with advanced engineering, including a specially designed shaft-drive system. You get wild chopper looks, plus the handling and reliability you expect from a Honda. Features include: 1,312cc liquid-cooled V-twin SOHC engine, 5-speed transmission, front and rear disc brakes, custom handlebars and grips, custom lower chin scoop, custom air intake, rear view mirror, solo seat, and 3.4-gallon fuel tank. This bike has only 1,293 miles and is in excellent overall condition. There are minor scuffs on the rear fender (see pics/video). It has been inspected by our factory-trained technicians and is mechanically sound. Delivery is available or the unit can be shipped freight truck to a business or freight hub (please call 866-572-1051-zip code is required for shipping quote). NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

EICMA 2013: 2014 Honda VFR800F

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Gracing the new 2014 VFR800F is traction control, ABS, heated grips, adjustable seat height and self-canceling blinkers. The V-Four-powered machine has been re-tuned  for greater low and mid-range torque, and also receives a new telescopic fork, Pro-arm swingarm, wheels, new, slimmer bodywork and styling. Starting with the 782cc V4-VTEC engine, Honda engineers focused mainly on cam timing and valve duration/overlap to increase low-to midrange power and torque, claiming 104.5 hp @ 10,250 rpm and 55.4 ft-lbs of torque @ 8,500 rpm. Bore and stroke is 72mm x 48mm, with compression ratio of 11.8:1. VTEC valve timing still operates one pair of inlet/exhaust valves per cylinder at low rpm, and then switches to four as revs rise. Honda’s single-mode Traction Control System (TCS) is fitted as standard equipment and is operated from the left handlebar.

Maverick Vinales Quits Blusens Avintia Moto3 Team

Fri, 19 Oct 2012

Maverick Vinales seems to be living up to his name, announcing he is leaving the Blusens Avintia team despite sitting second in the Moto3 World Championship with three rounds to go. Vinales traveled with the team to Sepang for the upcoming Malaysian Grand Prix but did not take part in Free Practice and later announced the split. You may remember Vinales from last season when he raced in the former 125cc Grand Prix World Championship for the Paris Hilton-sponsored Blusens-BQR team.
