I am regrettably selling my 2010 Honda VFR1200F motorcycle before I move. It has been garage kept for its whole life, and ridden mainly on weekend trips. It is in EXCELLENT condition, with only one (1) scratch, of which I've included a picture. It's been on there since I bought the bike. This motorcycle has never been dropped, laid down, or anything else that would have involved being fixed. I have already taken care of the Honda factory recall, so this bike has a BRAND NEW drive shaft. Please go to the Honda website for further details on the recall information (everything is in perfect working order, guaranteed from the factory). On the ground are a pair of Michelin Pilot Road 3's, with tons of life left in them. The only addition I've made to the bike are a pair of black GIVI hard-bags ($1000). I installed them using the SW MOTECH quick mount system ($300), which means that if you don't want the bags, you can remove the ugly bracket in less than 30 seconds. Lastly, I just put in a new battery about 4 months ago, see pictures above. I can't say enough about how perfect this bike is, with a sport-touring feel, but with the aggressive, powerful sport bike ride when you want it. Honda has applied for a European Vehicle Type Approval for a new model
Fri, 06 Aug 2021Earlier this year, a Japanese company patented the name and layout of the new NT1100 model. A while later, renderings of what a sports touring car with the engine and transmission from the CRF1100 Africa Twin might look like appeared on the network. Since then, no new information about the appearance of the NT1100 has been leaked, but just the other day it became clear that the model will be presented soon.
James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing
Fri, 09 Sep 2011Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
Stoner Tops Time Sheets as Honda MotoGP Testing Resumes
Thu, 01 Mar 2012Missing a day of testing didn’t appear to have a negative effect on Honda riders Casey Stoner and Dani Pedrosa. After missing the second day of testing because of a potential engine problem, the Repsol Honda riders were back on the track for Day 3 where they regained the top two spots on the time sheets. Honda held back Stoner and Pedrosa as well as satellite team riders Alvaro Bautista and Stefan Bradl yesterday to investigate an engine warning light that lit up on the dash of Pedrosa’s RC213V on Day 1.
