2007 HONDA VFR800 INTERCEPTOR, The Interceptor is equipped with Honda's 781cc liquid-cooled 90-degree V-TEC engine. The V-4 powerplant has 4-valves per cylinder, but only operates on two-valves (one intake, one exhaust) per cylinder at low rpm, then transitions to operating on all 4-valves at 6500 rpm and above. The engineering has an F-1 type feel to it, augmented by a powerfully sweet growl that really sings on top end. Just before tagging redline the Interceptor hits a respectable 107 horsepower at 10,800 rpm!This adult-owned, low-mileage Interceptor is super-clean with a Zero Gravity smoked windscreen, fender eliminator, rear cowl cover and a Harri's Hi-Tech tank protector. Honda Announces Returning 2013 Models with New Colors
Tue, 04 Sep 2012As we mentioned in an earlier post about the Repsol edition CBR250R, American Honda has announced a number of returning models for 2013 featuring new color schemes. The returning models include the big touring Gold Wing, the Fury chopper, the 1312cc Sabre, Stateline and Interstate cruisers, the 750cc Shadow cruisers, the entry-level Rebel and the XR650L dual-sport. All model come back unchanged except for the paint, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

MotoGP to Standardize ECU Software in 2016 Season
Tue, 18 Mar 2014MotoGP‘s Grand Prix Commission announced the series will adopt a standardized Engine Control Unit hardware and software programming for all entries starting with the 2016 season. At the moment, all teams are required to use a standard ECU hardware supplied by Magneti Marelli. Teams competing under the Factory option are allowed to use their own proprietary software programming while Open option participants must use standardized software.
