Honda Other description
Honda VFR 800 Interceptor 800. 29799 miles. 1 Previous owner who rode on the weekends - I picked this up in 2011 with only 1500 miles on it (and it's a 2005)! I have ridden this only on the highway in Orlando Florida. I purchased this from a local dealer and only have the bike, one key and the owner's manual. It has been flawless - totally reliable. Front and Rear Bridgestone tires have about 500 miles on them. Minor cosmetic scrapes (pictured) from previous owner. A true commuter or sports bike. The VTEC engine comes alive above 5000rpm when all valves open and this bike goes ballistic! I am selling this bike as my job is now 2 miles from my house and this is a luxury. I would prefer local pick up only but if you wish to arrange shipment to pickup then of course that is fine. The bike has no warranty and is sold AS-IS. Highly reliable, sleek and a great commuting or touring bike. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me. Please no time wasters. Front brake pads will need replacement as they are nearly done. This is not the ABS version but has the linked front/rear braking system from Honda.

Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead
Thu, 16 Jan 2014Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.
Electric Motorcycle Conversion [video]
Fri, 30 Jul 2010If you were ever curious how to convert your smelly, noisy and dirty gas powered motorcycle into a quiet and zero emissions electric motorcycle then you have to check this video out from GomiStyle. They take an old Honda Rebel 250 and customize the frame to accommodate the electric motor and batteries, they claim the conversion should take about two to three days to complete, the batteries will take about 5-8 hours to charge and will give you a top speed of 45 mph. Here is a link to the step-by-step instructions, check out the video after the jump. The GomiCycle – An Electric Motorcycle Conversion from Media Sapien on Vimeo.
Baker Vs. Marquez In Superprestigio Superfinal – Video
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Marc Marquez is an incredibly talented motorcycle racer, both on asphalt and in the dirt. His skills on the blacktop are well known by now, but his speed in the dirt opened some eyes as he demonstrated during the Superprestigio, an invitational dirt track event revived by Marquez to have a little fun in the off season and showcase the skills of some of the top riders in the world. Marquez handily won the Superprestigio class for grand prix racers, while the Open class, comprised of non GP riders, was won by that class’ most notable entry: American Brad Baker, the reigning AMA Grand National Champion.
