If you are seriously in the market for a unique, meticulously maintained, well-equipped 2000 VFR then your look stops here. The 2002 and newer VFRs with the V-Tech engine require more expensive V-Tech valve-adjustment maintenance. The 1998 - 2001 VFRs do not require the same expensive maintenance, ask any certified Honda mechanic. This is a professionally-owned, garage-kept bike. I purchased the stock bike in September 2003 as the second owner with 4500 miles, and I have the complete service history. Recently serviced and inspected in December 2012 and August 2013, it has been serviced by certified Honda mechanics every service interval, which included Honda Repsol Synthetic Oil changes every 5-6K miles and NGK Spark Plugs every 15K miles. Brand new Michelin Pilot Power 2CT tires (front and rear) were installed on 8-9-13.
