1998 Honda VTR 996 SUPERHAWK, EXTRA SHARP!! PIPE UPGRADES!! WE SHIP!! - The VTR1000F, which was introduced in 1997 used an all new 90-degree V-twin. The bike introduced several new design concepts such as the semi-pivotless frame, side radiators, single-casting engine case, connecting rods with cap screws instead of nuts, and the largest carburetors Honda ever put on a motorcycle (48 mm). Semi-pivotless frame meant that engine was a stressed member with the swingarm bolted directly to the engine.

Before going out on my high-powered motorcycle I always like to make sure that I'm wearing clean boxers with good elastic. Having once been admitted to A&E in a tatty pair of shreddies that weren't only on inside out (improved mileage) but were also on back to front (got dressed in the dark) and - if that wasn't already embarrassing enough - the elastic in the waistband had gone, too. 2013 AMA Daytona 200 Race Report

Cameron Beaubier led a parade of Yamaha YZF-R6 racebikes to win the 72nd running of the famed Daytona 200. The Yamaha Extended Service Graves Yamaha rider started from pole position and led for 50 of 57 laps before winning by a 22.254-second margin. Behind Beaubier were four other R6 riders including his teammate Garret Gerloff who finished second.

Honda Announces Returning 2013 Models with New Colors

As we mentioned in an earlier post about the Repsol edition CBR250R, American Honda has announced a number of returning models for 2013 featuring new color schemes. The returning models include the big touring Gold Wing, the Fury chopper, the 1312cc Sabre, Stateline and Interstate cruisers, the 750cc Shadow cruisers, the entry-level Rebel and the XR650L dual-sport. All model come back unchanged except for the paint, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
