Honda Other description

1995 Honda VT1100 ACE, Well maintained and cared for!!! - Honda: Made In USA. These words, printed on the passenger seat of Honda's Shadow 1100 American Classic Edition (ACE), tell the whole story behind Honda's newest entry into the Harley-Davidson controlled cruiser bike market: It's made in America, it looks American, it sounds American, heck, it even feels American. Feel free to substitute "Harley-Davidson" for "American" anywhere above -- the ACE, as you can see, is the boldest Harley ripoff ever produced. A little back ground here: Harley-Davidson is in the enviable position of selling more bikes than they can make, thus, at the dealer level, customers have to wait for a year or more for their preferred bike.

Wed, 08 Jan 2014

Stage 4 of the 2014 Dakar saw Juan Pedrero take his maiden victory aboard a Sherco SR 450 Rally. Although not in contention for the overall, Pedrero showed he has outgrown his previous role as Marc Coma’s lieutenant at KTM by bringing his Sherco across the finish line 3:10 faster than third place Coma and 29 seconds faster than second place finisher Francisco Lopez. Coma’s performance in today’s stage moved him to only 3:10 behind overall leader Joan Barreda.

Honda Developing V4 MotoGP Production Racer

Fri, 22 Jun 2012

Honda is reportedly developing a production racer based on its RC213V racebike that could be sold to teams looking to compete in MotoGP. The new racebike is expected to be of a lower-spec than the RC213V prototype but perform better than a CRT machine with a production-based engine. According to a report by racing site MotoMatters and French magazine Moto Journal, the new V4-engined production racer will be sold to race teams instead of being leased, as is the case with current satellite teams and their race prototypes.
