HI and thanks for looking at my auction. I am the second owner of this bike and I have had a lot of fun riding it but I'm getting too old for this kind of bike so it's up for auction. Bike will come with a tank bag, manual and original tool kit. Seat and tires are in great shape. Very dependable bike. I am in Key West so if you are on the East coast between here and Maryland I can deliver the bike for the price of the uhaul trailer plus money for gas which we can discuss or you can arrange pick up from 33040 with a shipping company. This item is listed locally so i reserve the right to end the auction early. If you use a shipping company the bike must be picked up asap. Schwantz Headlines 2012 Isle of Man TT Parade Lap
Tue, 24 Apr 2012Former 500cc World Champion Kevin Schwantz headlines a star-studded group of racers taking part in a parade lap during the 2012 Isle of Man TT. Schwantz leads the group of six racers, past and present, selected by helmet-maker Arai to take part in the parade lap of the Isle of Man’s Mountain Course. Schwantz has visited the Isle of Man before, but this will mark his first closed lap of the circuit.
2013 Honda CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R Recalled in Australia
Tue, 18 Feb 2014Honda has recalled its 2013 CB500F, CB500X and CBR500R models in Australia because of a defect that could cause an oil leak. At the moment, no recall has been announced for the U.S., though there is a good possibility one will be announced shortly, as all 500-series models are manufactured in the same Honda factory in Thailand. There is a similar recall for the Japanese market for the CB400F, CB400X and CBR400R, which are mechanically identical to Honda’s 500-series models, but with a smaller engine to meet the country’s tiered licensing requirements. According to the Australian and Japanese recall notices, the rocker arm shaft sealing bolt may come loose, causing oil to leak from the engine.
Honda Announces More New-Model Releases For 2012
Tue, 08 Nov 2011Lost in all the hoopla surrounding the new models being released at EICMA this week, Honda has announced details about a few more models in its 2012 lineup: the CB1000R, CBR250R, Silver Wing scooter and the Ruckus, along with the cutting-edge VFR1200F that receives an infusion of impressive new technology for 2012 (which we’ll highlight in a separate blog entry). All of which are returning models from 2011. Pricing is yet to be determined.
