1989 Honda Goldwing GL 1500 w/ Trailer, This Gold Wing has a color matched trailer with it! The GL 1500 Gold Wing was Hondas top of the line touring bike from 1988 to 2001, This one is a 1989. The Engine on the GL 1500 models is a liquid cooled, horizontally opposed six cylinder 1520 cc with single overhead camshafts and hydraulically operated lifters. Fuel is delivered to two down-draft CV carburetors by an electric fuel pump. The front suspension uses a pair of conventional damper rod forks with an anti-dive device built in. Final drive is by a shaft. The front brakes uses dual disc and the rear brake uses a single disc, the front and rear brakes are interlinked the brake pedal operates the front left brake as well as the rear brake. The right front brake is operated by the lever on the right handlebar independently of the rear and left front brake.The trailer has new tires on it, the spare is new also. 2014 Honda CRF250R Announced
Tue, 14 May 2013Honda has completely overhauled its CRF250R motocross bike for 2014, offering an all-new engine and an aluminum beam frame inherited from the CRF450R. With a claimed weight of 231 pounds, the 2014 model is actually 4 pounds heavier than the 2013 model, but the new updates are designed to improve mass centralization, with Honda claiming it to be more flickable and nimble than before. According to Honda, the new frame weighs 20.6 pounds, while the main frame spars meet the steering head lower than on the previous frame, helping lower the center of gravity.
Honda Sold 16.8 Million Motorcycles in 2013
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Honda announced sales of 16.8 million motorcycles in 2013, an improvement of 8.7% from the 15.5 million motorcycles sold in 2012. The announcement was made two days before Honda’s third quarter report for the three months ended Dec. 31, 2013, so we will have to wait to hear the financial impact, but based on these numbers, the quarterly report should be positive.
