If you thought the license test was hard in America…

I’ll be the first to admit that the procedure to get a motorcycle endorsement (and a car license for that matter) in this country is incredibly easy. If you’re smart, you sit in a classroom for a few hours, answer some basic questions, learn all the controls, perform a simple riding test, and you’re off to the races.  Look at what the Japanese have to do to get their certification! For all you gearheads out there, Honda has opened a new Motorcycle Technology Picturebook site, an easy to understand guide to Honda’s advanced motorcycle technologies.  You can find anything from the engine idling stop system to Honda’s new automatic transmission system for motorcycles or the HFT (Human-Friendly Transmission) pictured above. Honda Re-Signs Marc Marquez Through 2016 MotoGP Season

Marc Marquez has signed a contract extension with Honda Racing Corporation that will see the reigning MotoGP champion stay with the manufacturer through the end of the 2016 season. “We are very satisfied to have reached an agreement to keep Marc in the team for a further two seasons,” says Shuhei Nakamoto, executive vice president of HRC. “Of course, as Honda, we wanted to keep Marc in our family, and he also wanted to stay with us so … it was natural to renew the contract even if it is very early in the season!
