1983 HONDA GOLDWING INTERSTATE 1100.94,700 mileS. I PURCHASED THIS LAST WINTER FOR A WINTER PROJECT AND FINISHED DROVE IT DURRING THE SUMMER ,BUT NOW IM LOOKING FOR A NEW PROJECT. THE GOOD I CLEANED THE CARBS CLEANED THE JETS TO ALL four CARBS, NEW GASKET SEAL TO CARBS, NEW FUEL FILTER AND FUEL LINE. NEW BATTERY, CHECKED AND CHANGED ALL FUSES, NEW HEADLIGHT AND A FEW NEW BULBS TO THE SURROUNDING LAMPS. LAMPS EVERYWHERE. NEW SPARK PLUGS,CHANGED ALL BRAKE PADS two BRAKES UP FRONT AND 1 IN REAR. I CLEANED BRAKE CALIPERS AND POLISHED ALL SPINDLES AND INSERTED NEW O RINGS, BLEAD ALL LINES SEVERAL TIMES UNTILL I GOT IT RIGHT. CHANGED THE OIL AND FILTER CLEANED THE AIR FILTER WASNT THAT DIRTY.I ADJUSTED THE IDLE, THE CLUTCH CABLE AND THROTTLE CABLE. DRAINED THE RADIATER FLUID FLUSHED THE RADIATER AND REPLACED NEW FLUID.NEW GASKET TO THERMOSTAT CLEANED AND POLISHED . THE BAD : I WAS UNABLE TO GET THE RADIO WORKING IT DOES TURN ON BUT UNABLE TO CHANGE CHANNEL SO JUST STATIC.I DID NOT DUE ANYTHING WITH BELTS AND SHOCKS OR TIRES BUT THOSE ALL SEEM TO BE FINE. IM AN HONEST PERSON SO HOPEFULLY IVE INFORMED YOU OF EVERYTHING . IM ONLY SELLING BECAUSE IM ANSY TO START A NEW PROJECT. Cal Crutchlow Leaves Ducati for LCR Honda

Cal Crutchlow has signed on to race for the LCR Honda team for the 2015 MotoGP season. To make the jump, Crutchlow secured an early termination to his contract with Ducati. The switch comes as a bit of a surprise after Crutchlow had confirmed he would honor the final year of his contract at World Ducati Week.

The Honda CB1100 has only been available here in North America for a year, but for 2014, the retro-styled standard is already getting an update. That’s because the CB1100 has been around for a bit longer overseas, and for nearly everywhere but here, it’s ripe for a modest refresh. For 2014, Honda is replacing the previous version’s five-speed transmission with a six-speed gearbox.

US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011

Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
