You are bidding on a one owner 1982 Honda GL500 Silver Wing. The bike starts right up every time with a good battery, it has good tires, good brakes and is pretty clean for a 1982. The bike 42,350 mile on it. Bike is very easy to ride and gets great mpg. Look at the pics and email for more information. Bikes comes as you see it with the aftermarket driving/fog lamps and the removable windshield. Bike can be driven home anywhere without any known problems to me. I can pick up the winning bidder at a Sacramento area train/bus/plane station. If you want to have the bike transported please check the rates before you win the bike. It might be more or less than you think. Buyer to pay all transport fees. Bike is selling as is where is, there are no warranties implied expressed or given. How do 1000s compare to the 800s

Now MotoGP has completed its transformation from 800 to 1000cc, how do the lap times between the different bikes compare using Valencia and the post-season test as a benchmark.. Yesterday, Dani Pedrosa was the quickest 1000 on his Honda RC213V setting a time of 1:32.186. To find the quickest time from the outgoing 800 era you have to look at his current Repsol Honda team-mate, Casey Stoner, but it wasn't set on a Honda.

New kit: Davida Jet helmet

The Davida Jet helmet is a quality piece of kit, made here in dear Old Blighty. I got my hands on one just a few days before I went on the CB1100 launch last week and I thought it suited Honda's big retro perfectly. The lining and finish is superb, with high gloss paint and a padded/quilted leather interior.

Since wild camping in the UK is generally regarded as trespassing, I opted for a crowded campsite in the heart of Sussex, open fires allowed, to see if the MOTOTENT is worth the £399 price tag. On the face of it the MOTOTENT is essentially a two man dome tent with a porch, Well I can pick up one of those up from Argos for £100 or less. Also I was struggling to understand why you would buy a tent that you can sleep in and store your bike in overnight, certainly in the UK most places you are likely to stay are fairly secure campsites.
