My wife and I located this bike in Ohio a couple of years ago where it had been in heated storage for the past 29 years due to the original purchaser passing away . When we bought it , it had 250 miles on it and it now has 580 miles on it. My wife no longer rides it due to a pinched spinal nerve which makes her left arm go numb after 20 minutes of riding. So she has asked me to list the bike to the next lucky owner or collector of vintage motorcycles. I am taking my Harley down to Florida in my enclosed trailer in October for Biketoberfest so I am willing to deliver the bike for free anywhere along the I 75 corridor between Detroit Mich. and St. Augustine Fla. for the winning bidder. This is a really sharp 1982 Honda 450 and you would be hard pressed to find another like it anywhere . These bikes were no slouches either. From the factory they had 45 horsepower and were capable of 1/4 mile speeds of 13 seconds. ( I got that information from the Honda website .) I havent tried to see how responsive the bike is as I have my own bike and I dont beat on it either. Bid to win , its worth it. WSBK 2013: Donington Park Race Report
Mon, 27 May 2013Tom Sykes had an outstanding weekend in front of his home fans, scoring a pair of wins at the World Superbike Championship round at the United Kingdom’s Donington Park. The Kawasaki racer led every session from first qualifying onwards, before leading all 23 laps in both races for the double. The double victory brings Sykes to within 4 points of series leader Sylvain Guintoli who had a decent weekend himself with a pair of podium finishes.

The adverts consist of the supposedly the frame from Valentino Rossi's championship dominating machine from 2003 on eBay and a frame that comes complete with the sexy V5 engine. The eBay listing is currently at $510 and is literally an incomplete frame with the ad stating that it is the 'unfinished basis of replacement RC211V frame, all made in aluminium with CNC machined parts & high quality welding', the bidding is still under the reserve set by the user.

You couldn't fathom two bikes at further ends of the scale. One all about performance and speed, the other about user-friendliness and thrift.
