Great starter bike. 1981 Honda Gl500. Run great. 42k. $1300 or best offer. Engine and transmission runs strong, Dark green paint, in good conditions
It comes with a rear seat that pulls off and can be replaced by trunk (both included). Front Brake system was replaced last year by Liberty Vintage Cycle from discover channels short lived show Philly Throttle. Bike is as is. Please ask any question or take a look before bidding. Please keep in mind this is a 35 year old bike. Was used daily for a few years by me until i upgraded. It has been sitting for a bit unused and needs a good home. Bike is in Maple Shade, NJ. Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Affects Honda CTX700, Suzuki Hayabusa, Kawasaki Ninja 250R and Possibly More

We can now confirm that the recall also affects U.S. models as well as models from other manufacturers using the same components from Nissin.
Honda CBR250R Sticking Around for 2014, Getting Facelift to Match New CBR300R

The assumption was the 286cc CBR300R would replace the CBR250R as Honda’s entry-level sportbike. The CBR250R isn’t completely disappearing however, as Honda announced the 2014 version will be appearing at the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, Nov.
Day 5 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins Stage, Moves Into Overall Lead
Thu, 09 Jan 2014Red Bull KTM factory rider and three-time Dakar winner Marc Coma won stage five today followed by his teammate Jordi Viladoms and KTM supported rider Kuba Przygonski allowing KTM to scoop the top three places. Today´s stage five from Chilecito to Tucuman was characterized by hot temperatures, lots of sand and navigation in dry vegetation. Organizers decided to cancel the second part of the special for safety reasons and also because heavy thunderstorms threatened the area.
