I purchased it as my first bike and something to work on. It still needs some work but I have done a lot to it. Brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them accel ignition coil engine was just rebuilt with new valve seals and gaskets honed cylinder walls. New throttle cables, new master brake cylinder with rebuilt caliper and new brakes. it needs a headlight (current one is slightly crooked) fork seals air filters and exhaust has only header with straight pipes. I just no longer have the means to work on it and must sadly part with the bike. It could be a good winter project for someone looking for a bobber or to tinker on and get ready for the spring. Crossover Honda CRF450R again upgraded

The first update is related to the kickstarter, or rather, its absence: now the “single-barrel” in the basic version is started by an electric starter with a very light Li-ion battery. The second difference of the newly rejuvenated CRF450R is the suspension with changed settings - obviously, it steers more fun and perky than before.

Honda Announces Returning 2013 Models with New Colors

As we mentioned in an earlier post about the Repsol edition CBR250R, American Honda has announced a number of returning models for 2013 featuring new color schemes. The returning models include the big touring Gold Wing, the Fury chopper, the 1312cc Sabre, Stateline and Interstate cruisers, the 750cc Shadow cruisers, the entry-level Rebel and the XR650L dual-sport. All model come back unchanged except for the paint, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

On the 11th January 1962, Steve Hislop was born in Hawick, Scotland. Today would have been his 50th birthday, but he was tragically killed in a helicopter accident in 2003. Hizzy was a genius on a motorbike and when he was happy with everything around him, he was amongst the best in the world.
