You are purchasing a 1980 Honda C70 Passport Deluxe motorcycle scooter with a clear title. This item runs good and does show rust in different areas on the bike. I purchased this from an older gentleman who barely rode the bike. Everything on the bike appears to be original and the bike fires right up with a kick start. The battery is included but does not work due to age, there for you will have to purchase a new 6 volt battery in you prefer. Also the upper chain guard will need fixed or replaced as it shows damage from rusting out, which I noticed it tries to catch the chain(I took the guard off to operate the bike). A simple weld could fix it or you could purchase a replacement off Ebay for around $20. I recently replaced the speedometer on 7/10/2016 due to the old speedometer not working and having broken glass. The new speedometer came off a 1986 Honda C70 Deluxe which does work and is in good condition as I tested on 7/10/2016 and had the speedometer up to 55 mph. In my photos you can view my old speedometer and the new speedometer. Mileage is unknown as for when purchased the title read 2,645 witch odometer discrepancy. If I had to guess its going to be real close around that mileage. The title is free and clear! Please review my photos for a better description and check out my video below. Intermot 2012: Honda CRF450 Rally Unveiled
Tue, 02 Oct 2012Today at Intermot 2012, Honda unveiled the CRF450 Rally, the machine it plans to enter in the 2013 Dakar Rally, marking the manufacturer’s return to the race after more than two decades. Honda has competed nine times from 1981 in the forerunner of the present Dakar Rally, the Paris-Dakar Rally. Cyril Neveu of France took Honda to its first victory in 1982, the race’s fourth year, and from 1986 to 1989 Honda won four consecutive titles for an overall record of five victories in nine years. The CRF450 Rally is based on Honda’s commercial CRF450X enduro racing model, and features electronic fuel injection, auxiliary fuel tanks in the panniers and lower side fairings, and the requisite navigation equipment located behind the windscreen.
