1980 Honda Cx Series 500 CUSTOM, I am selling my 1980 Honda cx500 custom. This is a v-twin water cooled bike with a shaft drive that I bought 4 years ago from the original owner after it had not been ridden for almost 20 years. It has, however, always been stored and parked indoors and is in very good condition. I went through everything on the bike that needed to be replaced including the mechanical water pump seal, fork seals and fork oil, new intake tubes, rebuilt the carbs, cleaned and sealed the gas tank w/POR15, new fuel tank valve, new original-style mufflers, new brakes front and rear, rebuilt front caliper and master cylinder, new Kenda Challenger tires front and rear. Paint is original and not perfect but still looks pretty good for it's age. Some minor road rash from previous owner. Seat is in excellent condition with no tears. Runs and sounds good with plenty of power and acceleration, even on the highway. No oil or antifreeze leaks. 19,150 miles. Inspected through Sept. 2013. 2013 AMA Supercross Phoenix Race Report

The Team Honda Muscle Milk rider took the holeshot and never looked back to take his maiden win in front of 50,109 fans at Chase Field in Phoenix, Ariz. “I can’t tell you how excited I am right now,” says Barcia.

2013 AMA Daytona 200 Race Report
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Cameron Beaubier led a parade of Yamaha YZF-R6 racebikes to win the 72nd running of the famed Daytona 200. The Yamaha Extended Service Graves Yamaha rider started from pole position and led for 50 of 57 laps before winning by a 22.254-second margin. Behind Beaubier were four other R6 riders including his teammate Garret Gerloff who finished second.
